Whether for official and casual lifestyle, women need some unique and inspirational blouses for the special occasions.

and for casual wear. Sometimes crisp custom made shirts unbuttoned at the neck having
rolled-up sleeves look great when paired with blue jeans for informal events.
Although custom made shirts seem very basic, dressing in various styles,
fabrics and add on choices with the tailors make significant impression and
style.
These
are some important basic points to keep in mind when considering buying custom
made shirts and blouses;
1-Fiber, 2-Fabric, 3-Finishing,
4-Construction and Workmanship and 5-Size
1-Fiber; women’s tailored shirts are made from 100%
cotton or cotton blends and polyester fabrics. Sometimes, nylon or rayon is
exception. Fashionable and dressy styles for women are essentially in silk. At
times fashion may favor linen, silk or specialty fibers or brushed or
sand-washed surface finishes. The most basic and fashionable fibers today either
cotton or cotton and polyester blends. Higher quality cotton always provides

fabrics: broadcloth, oxford cloth and cotton fabrics. Cotton broadcloth is a
tightly woven plain weave fabric with fine ridge in crosswise design. Oxford
cloth is a basket weave with a somewhat coarser or heavier appearance than
broadcloth. Basket weaves usually produce looser weaves than plain weaves. Cotton shirting is a group of woven fabrics
that provide a smooth surface like chambray, madras, or end-on-end fabrics.
3-Finishing; finishing is kind of
treatment done on fabric enhancing performance of shirt and blouse fabrics.
These are some common finishing methods found on some shirts and blouses.
Mercerization is done on cotton thereby increasing luster, strength and ease to
absorb dye colors. It increases absorbency and improves wear comfort. Permanent
Press finishing gives wrinkle resistance which makes fabrics require less to no
ironing after machine washing and tumble drying. Wrinkle resistance finishing
is best on 100% cotton shirts as they wrinkle in process of laundering. Wrinkle
resistance finishing affects fiber strength but at times ease of care prevails over
fabric strength in customer buying decisions.
4-Consatruction and
Workmanship; soil release finishing helps fabrics release oily soils in laundering
process. This is applicable on polyester/cotton blend fabric than on 100%
cotton since polyester quickly soaks up oily stains. High quality women’s custom
made shirts or blouses have great workmanship and construction with smooth and
even stitch quality that speaks on the quality of tailors in Bangkok. Stitching
detail is small without loose threads and no puckering seams as that exposes
the poor tailor experience. Conventional double-stitched seams for fluency and durability
are more popular and professional for most common tailors in Bangkok. The design
of the cuff placket is always exceptionally polished and eloquent. Sleeves are conveniently
pleated into the cuffs rather than gathered to give an unsightly appearance. The
collar points are always even, flat and wrinkle free with no puckers at all. The
buttons and buttonholes are carefully done in equal design and sequence. The buttons
are smooth, uniformly thick, having four holes and perfectly stitched in place
minus chipping, discoloring or fading in color.
5-Size; appropriate custom made size shirts
and blouses always give great appearance and comfortable fit. When choosing to
stitch short sleeve shirt or long sleeve blouse fitting and measurement is taken
from the neck (below Adam's apple) to the entire stretch of the torso (upper
body). From collar size, shoulder stretch, sleeve length, bust size, elbow ,
wrist etc all areas are vital. Women's shirts usually follow misses sizing (8,
10, 14) or according to bust size (32, 34, 36). It is always to try on sketch blouses
or shirts to get precise fit. Women with longer arms or longer torso may need
to take extra care for better fittings and measurements.
